Music Award "Echo der Klassik 2010" for Selmer Saxharmonic!

                          

 Together with Milan Turkovic (cond.), Selmer Saxharmonic is awarded one of the most important classical-music awards. It is a great honour for us to receive the "Echo" in October in the Philharmonic Hall in Essen.

Milan Turkovic and Selmer Saxharmonic had a very successfull concert at the "Helmut-List-Halle" in Graz.

1000 listeners enjoyed a program from Purcell to Gershwin - the ensemble gave two encores by Antonin Dvorak.

 

Carinthischer Sommer, Ossiach (Austria)

 

In the perfect setting of the old monastry of Ossiach, 400 people listened to Selmer Saxharmonic and Milan Turkovic playing

an varied program and encores by George Gershwin.

 

Selmer Saxharmonic plays at the "Festspiele Europäische Wochen Passau"

- one of Germanys oldest and biggest Music Festivals.

In front of 800 listeners, Selmer Saxharmonic played an open-air concert near Passau on June 14th 2009.

Conducted by Klaus Lienbacher, the twelfe saxophone virtuosos played works by Purcell, Dvorak, Milhaud, Schostakowitsch and Gershwin. 

 

Concert in Vienna at the concert hall of the ORF (Austrian Radio)

 

On February 16th, Selmer Saxharmonic played at the ORF in Vienna and was conducted by Milan Turkovic.

In the sold-out concert hall, the ensemble played works by Purcell, Dvorak, Milhaud, Shostakovich, Lauba and Gershwin.

The concert was recorded by the ORF and will soon be broadcasted at Ö1 Classical Radio Station.

 

Concert in Schärding (Austria)

 

One day before the concert in Vienna, Selmer Saxharmonic played at the "Alfred-Kubin-Hall" in Schärding.

 

Opening-Concert at “Moselfestwochen”
