Selmer Saxharmonic is awarded the "Echo der Klassik 2010" for the CD-recording "Flying Saxophone Circus".

The "Echo" is one of the world´s most important music-awards which was presented at a TV show in October 2010 in Essen Philharmony.

Other award-winning artists are e.g. Lang Lang, David Garret, Helene Grimaud, Albrecht Mayer and Evgeny Kissin.

Selmer Saxharmonic  untites 12 of the most established and well known German saxophonist and forms an outstanding and unique ensemble consisting of all the instruments of the saxophone family. Baroque music, transcriptions from romantic and classical music, as well as contemporary works are played with a rich orchestral sound, using the wide range of colours from the sopranino to the bass saxophone.
